Luis Ricardo Amendolla Gasparo (Mexican, 1929-2000) "La Ventana Amatlan", 1985, watercolor, sight 22-1/2" x 17", signed "Amendolla", and titled and dated lower right. Glazed, matted and presented in a stained hardwood frame. Ex-collection: David and Eula Wintermann, Eagle Lake, Texas; accompanied by the original bill of sale from The Live Oak Art Club, Columbus, Texas, dated July 4, 1986. Amendolla is considered one of the best watercolor painters of the modern era in Mexico. In addition to Mexico, his artwork may be found in the United States, Guatemala, Japan and Korea.
