oil on canvas, retaining an old typewritten label on the lower stretcher reading "bigoden women" and with a 1961 newspaper clipping about Makler Gallery's showing of Settanni's paintings at the festival of Italy, the author goes on to describe Settanni as "Trained at the Barnes Foundation, which sent him to Europe on several fellowships. Settanni is a painter's painter, strongly influenced by the restless movement in the art of French modernist Soutine." Presented in the likely original frame.
