American Schooner in the Bay of Naples and The S.S. Lundi off the Coast of Malta: Two Works
The first, signed L. Roberts, dated 1882 and located Napoli l.l., the second, unsigned, located Malta and inscribed d'Esposito l.r.
Each gouache on paper; the first with a faint surface scratch at u.l., the second with some spotting in the sky. Each framed.*
Sight size of the first, oval: 11-3/4 x 15-1/2 in (29.9 x 39.3 cm)
Sight size of the second: 9 x 18-1/2 in (22.9 x 47 cm)
