Ink on paper, vertical scrolls. The rhythm couplet scrolls each vertically written with seven characters against red colored paper, artist signature and mark Lu Runyang on the side.

題識：左取劍戈右俎豆，狂喜書應錯寫麞。玉渠仁兄雅正，陸潤庠。
鈐印：陸潤庠印（白文）、鳳石（朱文）
說明：陸潤庠，字鳳石，號雲灑、固叟，諡文端，元和（今江蘇蘇州）人。同治十三年（1874）狀元，歷任國子監祭酒、山東學政、國子監祭酒。後任工部尚書、吏部尚書，官至太保、東閣大學士、體仁閣大學士。
