Exhibited: Student's Show, Royal Academy Schools, July 1991: English School late 18th century- Figure on a donkey on a path in an italianate mountain village landscape; pencil, black ink and wash with touches of watercolour, inscribed extensively and dated April 21 1799, 23x35cm: Circle of James Bourne RA 1773-1854- Figure on a mountain path with woodland; black ink and wash, 28x20.7cm. Provenance: Purchased from R F Appleby, Esq: Dr William Crotch 1775-1847- "View in Kensington Gardens"; black and blue chalk with touches of white chalk on grey paper, dated 9 July/ Do 4 o'Clock/1822 on the reverse, 14x22.3cm.
