Voici une très belle planche de grand format issue de la deuxième série de Liliane et Fred Funcken, Harald le Viking, datant de 1957. On y découvre une scène de bagarre en mer particulièrement homérique. On notera le masque très graphique du chef des attaquants, grande tradition des scénarii de l’époque. Il fallait frapper les imaginations pour s’assurer un lectorat pérenne dans ce paysage volatile où beaucoup de magazines se disputaient les faveurs des jeunes lecteurs. On notera aussi avec quelle économie de moyens sont suggérés les décors.
