Frame rubbing. Appears to have been cleaned at one time - thin in areas. 4 inch line of damage with corresponding patch on reverse and inpainting on recto at far left center. 3 1cm tears along the top with corresponding patches on reverse. No further apparent restoration. Canvas beginning to tear along the center of the left stretcher mark.
