This is a large watercolor, matted and framed behind glass. It is the painting of a woman (perhaps a Nun?) outlined by a stone archway. The colors of blue and rose and orange and beige work together to make this an outstanding piece. Warren Chase Merritt (1897 - 1968) Painter, muralist. Born in Randsburg, CA on Dec. 3, 1897.
