George A. Boyle was a British painter who was born in 1826. Many of his works have been sold at auction, including 'Sunset' sold at Christie's South Kensington 'British and Continental Pictures' in 2000 for $11,034. The artist died in 1899. Painting has been restored along with a new gold leaf frame in excellent condition. 12.125" x 10.125" oil/canvas. Frame 20” x 18”
