Lot 65: Lambeth A pair of Doulton Lambeth vases, possibly by Maud Bowden, Circa 1925

Of elongated shouldered ovoid form, with upper everted broad rim, painted vibrant cobalt blue to the interior, each standing on spreading circular base, the body decorated with central sage green stippled panels, flanked by mottled deep green glazes to foot and rim, applied with a succession on flower heads picked out in umber and blue colours, standing on long twisted stems with interlinking bead gadroons; 37cm high, impressed mark and number 6621, inscribed M.B. monogram.
