In-8° (fortes piqûres passim). - 74 compositions de Jeanniot (1848-1934) : 3 vign. de couv. (celle du plat sup. tirée en couleurs), 61 vign. in-texte grav. sur bois en noir et 10 eaux-fortes h.t. en noir. Tirage num. justifié à 300 ex. + 1 ex. unique, un des 40 sur vélin à la cuve (3e pap., n° 89) accompagnés de 3 suites reliées in suo loco : 1 suite des vignettes sur chine et 2 suites des eaux-fortes avec remarques sur vélin fort (1er état et état définitif avant la lettre). - Complet (ou enrichi ?) du bois en noir sur double page titré "La fille Élisa Livre d'Amateurs" relié au début de l'ex. (non signalé),- de l'eau-forte en 1er état, non retenue pour illustrer le "Poulailler",- ainsi que de la reprod. de la lettre de Testard expliquant qu'elle fut "offerte à titre de curiosité à nos souscripteurs" (non signalés). Maroq. lavallière signé René Kieffer, plats à riche décor (chardons) et cadre en cuirs ocre et noir mosaïqués et de filets et fleurons dorés, dos orné aux entre-nerfs de feuillages stylisés, doublures à décor floral mosaïqué sur maroq. brun-beige, gardes de tissu broché blanc et vert, doubles gardes de pap. marbré, tr. dorées, couv. et dos cons. (dos lég. passé, plat sup. avec pet. manque de cuir dans un listel, petit coup dans le cadre et défaut d'us. en gouttière).

Auction - Terms of sale

The purchaser shall pay, strictly cash, the hammer price, in €, together with a premium of 25 %, eventually plus the resale tax, if applicable: 4 % for hammer prices from € 2000 on, only for original art and if the author died less than 70 years ago.
The auction follows the order indicated by the catalogue. The biddings start at about 80 % of the lowest estimate and each bid must be +/? 10% higher than the previous one. In case of a dispute the lot will be called again.
The auctioneer has the right to refuse a bid, and this without further explanation.
Each buyer by making a bid acknowledges the conditions of sale and the fact that he has inspected the purchased item.
The auctioneer has the right to split a lot or join several lots.
Lots with two or more titles, series or periodicals, or lots with a mention "n.c." and 'sold w.a.f.'are not collated and cannot be returned.
Each buyer is supposed to buy for his own account and cannot claim any commission. Each bidder should inspect the lots during the exhibition. Under no circumstances can an item, once sold, be returned. For lots bought via a bidding order remarks or complaints, also concerning the authenticity of the items, should be formulated within 2 weeks after the auction. After that delay no item can be returned.
