KUNST IM DRITTEN REICH Kurt Schmid-Ehmen (1901 - 1968) - a folder with photographs of his eagle figures 1935-38 Circa 20 photographs and circa 40 negatives some made from glass. One photograph (17 x 20 cm) and one negative (6 x 6 cm) of the bronze eagle for the inauguration of the Isar bridge by Gauleiter Wagner in 1935. One photograph (13 x 15 cm) of the hearthstone for the smoking room of the Old Reich Chancellery personally presented to Hitler by the artist in 1935. Two large-format photographs of Schmid-Ehmen at work. Two negatives (6 x 6 cm) with swastika wreath for the Zeppelinwiese (party convention 1937). One booklet Nürnberger Schau from May 1939 and three large-format photographs of the eagle for the tribune (order from the Führer 1935 for two eagles for the Nuremberg Rally) one of them with the artist six small-format photographs with pictures of the installing of this figure and four negatives of said event one featuring the artist. Furthermore photographs and negatives of the national emblem for the Führer's building Arcisstraße (Munich) of two flagpoles for the Königsplatz (Munich) of four eagles for the Deutsches Museum of one urn with the national emblem (photocopy of the draft) of reliefs for the Haus der Deutschen Kunst of two national emblems for the Walhalla of the eagle for the German pavilion at the International Exposition in Paris 1937 of the national emblem for the Prince Carl Palais in Munich of the eagle as birthday present for Baldur von Schirach 1937 of the eagle for the parade Glaube und Treue in Munich 1938 etc. Traces of age partially slightly damaged.
