Notes

'The artist has divided up his landscape into sections like slices of cake, each slice containing a separate lot of colours and subjects. I think he succeded in giving an impression of autumn dampness and wet leaves rather than the "mellow fruitfulness" of Keats. November, in fact, rather than September.' Sir David Scott

Wood who has worked both as a painter-draughstman and an architect-designer, is an artist, who except for a break for war service has been active since the early 1940s. His work includes a relief mural for Guy's Hospital.
