Katie O'Sullivan lives and works in Lambourn, Berkshire, the center of racehorse training in England. Undertaking many commissions, her work is in the collections of several leading racehorse owners including H.R.H. The Duke of Edinburgh, Lord and Lady Bamford, Lord and Lady Lloyd Webber, Mr and Mrs John Magnier and Sheikh Mohammed. Born in Ireland in 1959, O'Sullivan studied at the Chelsea School of Art for five years where she won the Biddulph painting scholarship. Her highly individual style combines her extensive knowledge and understanding of equestrian subject with an unorthodox use of surfaces and materials, which enhance the impact and originality of her works.
