Karl Ferdinand Wolfe (American, 1904-1985): Rapids. Oil on canvas, signed in the lower right corner, framed in a partial frame consisting of a grasscloth covered liner and a white textured inner liner, and with no outer frame. The canvas size is 14" x 16", and overall with the framing it measures approx. 21-3/4" x 23-3/4".: Surface of the canvas is undulating, heavy soils, center of the composition appears to have some damage, losses and overpainting. May have smoke or heat exposure. The frame is in rough condition.
