Karl Dempwolf "Poppy Splendor", customized/remarked, framed limited edition giclee on canvas. (A remarked giclee is painted over by the artist, unlike a traditional giclee, which is an exact copy of an original. Therefore, a remarked giclee is genuinely one of a kind.) About the artist: Karl Dempwolf received his BA from California State University, studied at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, and received his masters degree from the University of Southern California. He has participated in numerous museum exhibitions, extensive national showings, and his work can be found in the book Art from the Parks. Dempwolf's paintings are collected worldwide, and are held in the permanent collections of large corporations, among them McGraw-Hill Publishers, and the National Park Foundation. He is the author of the book " A Painter's Journey." In October 2016 he was featured as the Artist of Note in Southwest Art magazine. He received a Lifetime Achievement Award during the annual Plein Air Convention this year, and he is a signature member of the California Art Club.
