PROVENANCE:

NOTE: The "Brandywine" ran for the famed Wilson Line from Wilmington to Philadelphia round trip three times daily and was used extensively as a winter boat often employed as an ice breaker when the more cumbersome paddlewheelers became ensnarled in the float ice. She remained in service until the 1920s.
