Description

He with pale pink print vest, she with elaborate lacy collar and embroidered entwined hearts, seated in colorful fancy painted chair. Each within oval spandrel. Watercolor with ink and pencil details on paper, approximately 3 x 2 1/2 inches. In black molded frames, 5 x 4 3/4 inches. A portrait of a child seated in a virtually identical chair by DaLee was in the Bertram K. Little and Nina Fletcher Little Collection, sold at Sotheby's, October 1994, lot 185.
