Julius F. Gayler, American 1872-1948. Grouping of 5 artworks including: A graphite drawing of an open arched pavilion, signed lower right Julius F. Gayler 1932 - very good condition - sight size 10 1/4" x 8 1/2"; and 4 etching signed Julius F. Gayler - titles include: Palerno, White Peacock, Berkshire Winter, and Gibraltar #7 - All in good condition. Sight size range 4 1/2" x 5 1/4" to 7 1/2" x 11 3/4" - largest frame size 14 3/4" x 19 1/2" - early 20th century.

ECLECTIC MULTI-ESTATE SALE IN 2 SESSIONS: SESSION 1 - 12:00 Noon: Partial estate of Sandra Mackintosh Buhalis to include many of her artistic wall hangings, most created from 19th century primitive country collectibles which she professionally displayed on 19th century tobacco racks. Also other Buhalis collectibles including early 20th century truck/auto lights, architectural, nautical, handmade dolls, early Santos figures, 18th century Italian creche doll, etc. Note that Sandra Buhalis's artwork has been displayed in several prominent art galleries in NY City including Cordier & Ekstrom in Manhattan, as well as in the permanent collections of the Guggenheim museum, The Brooklyn Museum, and the Hood Museum at Dartmouth. Approx. 150 lots.
SESSION 2 - Approx. 1:30: Decorative Arts & Country Collectibles. Includes part 2 of a Rye NY estate, textiles from the Rose Cumming estate, other textiles and country collectibles from several Ulster county estates, etc. To include lots of 19th/20th century men's and women's costumes - many hand sewn including silk and lace, lady's clothing accessories, rolls of wallpaper including some hand painted 19th century, bolts of classical fabrics, iron kitchen collectibles, country collectibles including quilts, Queen Ann andirons, Chinese export porcelain, various china and glassware, lighting, oriental rugs, books, some architectural, good banjo & uke, mid-century collectibles, artwork, lots of old wooden tools, large lot of 19th century shelf clock parts, large lot of veneer woods, etc. Over 250 lots.
PLEASE NOTE: The first & second session will be an online only sale using both the Liveauctioneers & Invaluable platforms - however, we will allow those without computers to participate in the sale as live bidders in the auction hall, with the understanding no items can be removed the day of the sale as invoices will not be prepared until Monday morning when purchases can be paid for and picked up. Absentee bids accepted.
