A young lady, facing left in lace-bordered purple dress, blue cloak draped over her left shoulder, drop earring, her long powdered hair upswept and falling over her right shoulder signed and dated on the counter-enamel 'J. Barbette. 1697.' enamel on copper oval, 1 1/16 in.
