JOSHUA BIEHN, (Canadian, 19th century), oil on canvas, "Tickled", 9" x 7", signed u.r. and dated 1901.

there are three areas of loss to the paint on the left-hand side, the largest the size of a pin head; there is a hairline scratch near the center of the painting which extends almost through the canvas, approximately 1" l.; there are three pin-sized holes through the canvas in the hair and hat of the figure.
