Condition Report

The copper is flat and stable, the paint surface is stable and the varnish is even and discoloured. There are some small superficial surface scratches lower left and a tiny, restored loss in the very lower left corner. The varnish fluoresces opaquely under ultraviolet light, but reveals some small areas of restoration in the lower right corner, around the figures on the right, and on the brow of the hill, close to the disappearing wagon. There is also some strengthening around some of the outlines of the animal group on the left. In overall good condition.
