Condition Report

The canvas is unlined and the paint surface is stable. There are no major damages visible to the naked eye, only a degree of bitumen craquelure throughout the darker tones and along the upper margin. The thick varnish fluoresces opaque under ultraviolet light. The only restoration visible are tiny retouchings to minimalise the effect of the aforementioned craquelure. In good overall condition. This lot is offered in a gesso and carved wood gilt frame.
