THREE BEARS, stone, signed in syllabics; signed in syllabics with Roman; signed in Roman, damage, 2.5" x 4.75" x 2" - 6.4 x 12.1 x 5.1 cm.; 1.25" x 3.25" x 1.5" - 3.2 x 8.3 x 3.8 cm.; 1.5" x 3" x .75" - 3.8 x 7.6 x 1.9 cm.
Provenance: The Balt collection, CA
Note: Between the years of 1964 to 1977 the Balts worked as a nurse and a teacher/Federal Government representative in Ivuyivik, Great Whale River and Rankin Inlet. They acquired carvings directly from the artists.
