JOSEPH LANGSDALE PICKERING (British, 1845-1912) THE PATIENT FISHERMAN. Oil on canvas woodland stream scene shows a fisherman with rod, line and bobber fishing in a winding stream through opening in thick woods. Signed lower left "JL Pickring". We are not sure why the absent "e" in his name. Housed in its original frame which has been gold painted and is "as is". SIZE: 17" x 24". CONDITION: Some inpainting to edges, generally very good. 9-92611 (800-1,200)
