Condition Report

The canvas has been lined. There are very minor surface abrasions along the upper framing edge. Ultra-violet light reveals areas of retouching in the background and in the trompe-l'œil, and other scattered spots throughout the composition. The overall appearance is good and the work is ready to hang. Presented in a gilt decorative frame.
