Josef Ritter von Führich (Kratzau 1800-1876 Vienna) Saint Isidor and the ploughing angel, c. 1871, pencil on hand-made paper, tracing lines partly visible, 24.5 x 38.2 cm, smoothed-out wrinkle at upper margin outside of image area, unmounted, (Sch) Except for minor details, the present drawing corresponds with a watercolour dated 1871 (formerly in the possession of Führich's heirs in Innsbruck; illustrated in Wörndle 1911, p. 38, fig. 59). Führich frequently used to do a design or study which was then preliminary to a watercolour. For the tracing see Wörndle 1914, 719 a.
