Johnson is perhaps best known for his elegant literary portraits in line for the New York Times Book Review . He has also contributed to Time, Atlantic Monthly , the New Yorker, Harper's Magazine, Harvard Business Review and other periodicals and has illustrated numerous children's books. He is currently working on a series of portraits of important children's book authors and illustrators, including this double one of the creators of The Wizard of Oz .
