Notes

Deborah was the daughter and coheiress of the Rev Anthony Williams AM of Treneere House (1738-1816), vicar of St Keverne and his wife Deborah (1737-1816). She married in 1803 Henry Pendarves Tremenheere (c.1763-1841). After a career as a captain in the E.I.C.S, commanding the 'Asia' in 1804, Henry had some success as a watercolourist, painting views of the West Country. Both are buried at the church at Madron, West Penwith, Cornwall, which contains a memorial window of stained glass to Henry Pendarves Tremenheere which was commissioned by and paid for by his nephew Seymour Tremenheere.
