Description

John William Waterhouse (1849-1917) (after) Lithograph from an original drawing from John William Waterhouse of 1904 & for the first time in the world in lithograph. From one of the last great French lithographer & engraver. LITHOGRAPH EDITED AT ONLY 40 EXEMPLARS This drawing, representing John William Waterhouse's most famous one, has been presented partially cut for quite a long time. Some old photos found recently, have proved that it was not always the case. For the first time ever, the lithograph shows this drawing entirely as it was drawn by Waterhouse in 1904. A fifty copy special editing on Great Paper (BFK Rives 270g). Numbered and hand-signed by the Lithographer. Drawn in the stone and hand-printing color by color on lithographic flat press. Each lithographic stone is systematically destroyed after being used. Therefore the printing of drawings is only issued once and in compliance with the number of expected editions. 3. Methods of Payments: We accept payments by Paypal.

4. Winning Bid: The highest bidder shall be the buyer and if any dispute arises between two or more bidders, the auction coordinator shall decide the buyer. We are not responsible for any technical issues or bids placed "by mistake"


5. Right to refuse sale: Plazzart reserves the right to refuse any sale due to unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to: damage to an item, out of stock listing, misrepresented item, withdrawn consignment, or other such issues. In the event of a refused sale for which payment has already been received, a full refund will be issued equal to the purchase price of the given piece.

6. Withdrawal Prior to Sale: Plazzart reserves the right to withdraw any property before the sale and shall have no liability whatsoever for such withdrawal.

8. Guarantee Terms: All items in the catalog are sold as described and sales are final. Buyer has the right to contact us if the item is not as described for any reason. All lots are as pictured. We certify that all information listed is correct to our expert knowledge.

Condition
All lots are sold as-is and as pictured with all flaws. Bidders should contact us for condition reports.

We provide handling, packing and shipping services solely as a convenience for our Bidders. We ship primarily by USPS priority mail within a commercially reasonable time following credit of the Bidders payment to our account to the registered contact/personal information address. On average, a Bidder may expect to receive their items within 1-2 weeks following their payment. The actual cost of shipping, insurance, registry and confirmation services is charged to the Bidder, as well as a packing/handling fee not to exceed $5 per item, to defray the cost of labor and supplies involved. Large, heavy, fragile or otherwise unusual items will incur additional charges. Under special circumstances, we may ship items using USPS Express Mail, private carriers or pack and ship enterprises, the cost of which shall be charged to the Bidder. All shipping, packaging & handling must be paid by the bidder. After 4 days from invoice sent bidders card may be charged.
