raised on a rectangular base and marble plinth inscribed with the racing record of Mill Reef, signed with copyright symbol and numbered '8/10' on base, dark brown patination, 38cm high.
Together with a letter of provenance from Geoff Lewis dated September 25, 1999.

Notes

The present lot was previously owned by Geoff Lewis, the jockey who won the 1971 Epsom Derby on Mill Reef. The bronze was presented to him by the owner of Mill Reef, Mr Paul Mellon, on the occasion of winning the Derby.
