Description

John Neale (British, 20th/21st c.), "Distant Cornfields," oil on canvas, c. 1976, signed lower right and titled on a label on the verso, further label on the verso from "Omell Galleries" in London, measures 15 x 24 inches unframed, 20 x 29 inches framed. CONDITION: Good. John Neale has had many successful exhibitions in Bond Street and Albemarle Street in London and in the provinces, as well as New York - and New Zealand. He has worked in many countries in Europe, also Australia, New Zealand and the USA. His work can be seen at The Estuary Gallery in Salcombe, where he resides in the summer months. He lives part of the year in Stratford upon Avon and for most of the winter he goes trout fishing and painting in New Zealand.
