John Henry Foley (1818-1874), a bronze sculpture of a youth at a stream, c.1846, classical style male youth standing full length and modelled in the round, leaning back holding tree with draped garment over back whilst placing one foot towards water, raised upon integral oval base, inscribed 'J.H.Foley.Sculp. Executed. for.the. Art-Union of London. 1846', with dark brown patina, 53.5cm high.
