Roberson, 99 Long Acre, London, and a label from Rambröderna, Göteborg, Sweden, on the reverse.
Oil on canvas, 14 x 18 in. (35.6 x 45.7 cm), framed.
Condition: Craquelure.

Condition Report

There is retouch visible under u.v. light, as follows: a long, uneven line (15 inches across by up to 5/8 in. high at its maximum) located about 1 inch below the frame liner. Thin broken line of retouch l.l. to the right of the signature and measuring about 1-1/4 inches overall. Small lines at the skirt of the figure in the doorway, scattered dots of retouch on the floor. Stable craquelure. Staining to the reverse with some of the larger spots which may relate to retouch on the front.
