Monogrammed, dated, and signed "...JGC 73/ROMA" on the barrel l.r., also dedicated,
signed, inscribed, and dated "For W.R. BARR. ESQ.-N.Y....by John G. Chapman Rome 1873" on the reverse.
Oil on panel, 14 x 10 in. (35.6 x 25.4 cm), in a period frame.
Condition: Retouch.
