22.25" x 34.25", signed; titled on exhibition label verso. Richardson was born in Nashville, TN. He studied at Vanderbilt University, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, University of Chicago, and the Watkins Institute. He exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art (1936); Art Institute of Chicago (1948-50); Southern States Art League (1935); Union League Club, Chicago; and the Tennessee All-State Exhibition. His work is in numerous public and private collections, including IBM, The Parthenon (Nashville), Boston Society of National History, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
