Lot 752: John Franklin Waldo (American, 1835-1920), "Echo Bridge on the Charles River (Boston)", c. 1911;

watercolor/paper, 15" x 10", signed, dated. Waldo was mostly self-taught, but studied with Henry Chapman Ford at the Chicago Academy of Design, painted oils and watercolors, working across the country and exhibiting at the Art Institute of Chicago, National Academy of Design, and the World Expo in New Orleans (1884-85). He made several sketching trips to Colorado.
