Condition Report

Painted onto an ancient oak panel, condition is essentially good, probably cleaned approx 20 to 30 years ago, inscribed feintly on the right handside, slight undulation of the panel notably at bottom right where evidence of a fine split is visible, otherwise some minor re-touching notable to the left side of the face within the hair where there may have been some minor denting. Framed within a Flemish style ebonised frame. No labels verso but indistinct Christies' s no. appears to be G44EW.
