Joan D. Taylor (1915-), Flowers before a window, signed, with gallery label - 'The Boydell Galleries, Liverpool' on verso, oil on board, 70 x 60cm.; 27.5 x 23.75in. * Studied at Liverpool College of Art. Taught textile printing at Laird School of Art, Birkenhead, 1946-67. Exhibited with Wirral Society of Arts, Liverpool Academy, R.A., N.E.A.C. and elsewhere in the northwest of England.
