Jo Brocklehurst 1935-2006- Portrait of a lady seated three-quarter length turned to the right and Portrait of a lady seated three-quarter length with a black feather boa, both circa 1970; pen and black ink and watercolour heightened with white on buff paper, one signed, a pair, in matching frames, 57x40cm., ea., (2). Note: These two pictures were done in the early 1970's when the artist was visiting the European club scene. This was during the period before she started to draw and paint fashion designs and pictures of the Punk era. She is known principally for her fashion pictures and drawings of Punk street fashion. However, before this she went on a tour of Europe specifically to the night clubs and it is thought that these were done in a club in Berlin.
