Jesus Monterde Blasco (1919 - 1995), Two Watercolour Illustrations, one depicting a Fairy Princess and her pupil accompanied by Anthropomorphic insects, published in the Teddy Bear comic of the 20th June 1970, measuring 8½ by 11½ inches; the other picture being of a young boy dressed as an Astronaut accompanied by his grandmother, holding the moon landing module in his hand. The moon landing occurred in 1969, a year before this illustration was published in the Teddy Bear comic on the 21st of November 1970, measuring 9 by 12 inches. Both illustrations are signed to the lower right, unframed. Jesus Blasco was an accomplished artist who illustrated many children's books, comics and magazines.
