Oil on canvas, 15 3/8 x 18 3/8 in. (39.0 x 46.7 cm), framed.
Condition: Lined, minor retouch, craquelure, mild surface grime.

N.B. The lot is accompanied by a letter from Philip Conisbee regarding the positive attribution of the painting to Jean-Victor Bertin, and a formal appraisal by Robert Kashey, Director of Shepherd & Derom Galleries, New York, dated May 17, 2001.
