NOTE

Aubé made his debut at the Salon in 1861 and studied at the École des Beaux Art with Duret and Dantan. He notably exhibited at the Salon in 1888 the plaster group representing François Boucher. This group appeared again at the Société Nationale des Beaux Arts in 1891, this time in marble.
