Vallhonrat, a Spanish photographer with extensive experience in the fashion world as well as substantial art exhibition and publication credits, says of his 'Possessed Space' series: 'I was very interested in questioning the nature of the photograph, both as icon and object. In my pictures, the frame is no longer a window, it's more a frontier, a border in relation to the body...in translating that three-dimensional reality into a photograph, what it once was is now meaningless...so what I was symbolizing is how photography deals with the reality in front of the photographer, and how the photograph deals with its own nature as an object.'
