Willem Carel Hendrik Friso, Prince van Orange en Nassau. The Hague: Pieter Gosse and Nicolaes van Daalen, 1755. 2o. Parallel text in Dutch and French. 41 numbered double-page engraved plates by Punt after van Cuyck with captions in Dutch, English and French. (Plate 1 lightly soiled, short tear to lower margin of plate 39, plate 41 split along fold and spotted at margins.) The 2 works bound in one volume, contemporary Dutch half calf, spine gilt with repeated floral ornament and morocco lettering-piece (extremities rubbed, corners bumped). The plates in the first work show the lying-in-state of William IV, Prince of Orange. In the second work, plates 1-38 depict the funeral procession, plate 39 a coach, plate 40 a plan of the Church, and plate 41 the market-place at Delft.
