Sophia Anne, was born 14 January 1788, the daughter of George Templer of Shapwick House and his wife Jane (née Paul). She married in August 1804, in St James's Piccadilly, her 1st cousin, Sir William Templer de la Pole, 7th Bart. of Shute (1782-1847). After losing two children in the year they were born, she herself died, aged 17, on 17 March 1808 shortly after the birth of their only surviving son, John George Reeve de la Pole, who was born 21 January 1808. John went on to succeed his father as 8th Baronet in 1847, having 1stly married Margaretta Barton in 1829 and 2ndly, Josephine Carre in 1843. He died in 1874 leaving one daughter, Margaretta Luchessa Jane Maria Pole.
