Nat. Theater Acad. (founding member), Woodmere AA, SC; Phila. College Art Alumni Assn. (pres. 1948-52). Exhibited at: Phila. WCC, 1935-45, PAFA, 1935-45, 1964 (Dawson med.), Phila. Art All., 1936 (prize), AIC, 1940, Cape AA, 1945 (prize), State Mus. Trenton, NJ., SC Herron AI, Woodmere AA, Lawrence College, Harcum Col., State Mus., Harrisburg, PA., PMA, 1940-, NAD Watercolor Shows, Audubon Artists & AIC (1940-49). Awards include gold medal, Phila. Col. Art Alumni Assn., 1954, Phila. WCC, 1955. Works at: Phila. Art All., Phila. WCC, PMA, Cape May Col, Phila. Pub. Sch., State Mus. Art, Harrisburg, PA., State Mus., Trenton, NJ., Lehigh Univ., Du Pont Collection, Wilmington, DE. Known primarily for his watercolors, but also was a block printer, etcher, illustrator, drawing specialist, lecturer and teacher. Well listed. Heritage Museum c.1960's, watercolor, 30 x 21, SLL *Special note: this painting was done in the 1960's yet it reflects the current reconstruction of the Heritage Museum as it is now.
