JAMES DEAN (1931-1955). American actor whose moody, rebellious persona resonated in films such as East of Eden and Rebel Without a Cause (both 1955). He died in an automobile accident but still remains a film legend. Signed original lobby card for his film East of Eden (1955) featuring a scene with his costar Julie Harris. Darkly inscribed and signed in ink at top border: "To Bob with all my best wishes - James Dean." Ink only slightly faded; light soiling; small border tear with no paper loss repaired with clear tape; light wrinkle at top right border corner with tiny crease at tip; occasional tiny border punctures; small left edge paper loss and edgewear matted out; else VG. Matted to overall 201/4"x171/4".
