Antiquities of Nevada and Antiquities of California welcome you to our 1st Live Auction on Invaluable. Antiquities has been in the memorabilia business for more than 35 years, longer than any other memorabilia company in the country. With our World Famous retail location at The Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace and our internet/wholesale offices in N. California, we cover the globe with unique, one-of-a-kind and 100% in-person and/or forensically certified authentic autographed memorabilia! From George Washington to Jerry Seinfeld to Led Zeppelin to "Darth Vader" - we literally do it all!
All current autographed items are obtained in-person and we get signing photos at every opportunity. Every item from Antiquities comes with a Lifetime Certificate of Authenticity - which we all know is only as good as the paper it's written on - except when you have 35 years of business and a retail location in the most prestigious mall in the country standing behind it! Now onto the rules and stuff...

Approximate Value: High and low estimates are provided solely for comparison purposes and Antiquities of California, LLC makes no warranties of any kind relating to them.
Any Approximate Value may include valuations which reflect the full, highest retail price of the item, the item's insurance replacement value, or both. No price estimate or Approximate Value should be considered to represent the investment or resale value of the item. Such values are to be solely based on the due diligence evaluation of the Bidder absent any estimate or Approximate Value presented.
In the event that an item is listed as having an "Approximate Value", this represents Antiquities of California LLC's in-house estimate of what the item's Approximate Value would be. Actual appraisal of the item is the responsibility of the Bidder.
Antiquities of California, LLC is also pleased to let you know that your item may have an Independent Authentication and that the accompanying Certificate (COA) enclosed with the item is proof of the items authenticity. This Certification of Authenticity does not imply that the item will be certified by any other rival authentication companies, the accompanied certification is the only certification the Antiquities of California can confirm. These are items are being sold as collectable pieces, there is no guarantee that this item can be resold on any online marketplace. Each of these companies has their own policies and politics.
If we are prevented by fire, theft, or any other reason whatsoever from delivering any property to the purchaser, our liability shall be limited to the sum actually paid, by the purchaser for such property.
Antiquities of California is not a Live Auction House therefore there will be no "Live Bidders" you're up against. However we do have a lengthy mailing list and our clients will be calling with bids. Therefore "Floor" bids will represent bids we take by phone/text from our regular clients.
DISPUTES/ CHARGEBACKS
By participating in Antiquities of California, LLC's Auction, the Bidder entirely agrees to the dispute resolution specified in the foregoing paragraph as the Bidder's SOLE means to resolve any and all disputes which may arise with Antiquities of California, LLC. By placing a bid, the Bidder specifically agrees that they will not file a dispute or chargeback of any kind with an online venue, a credit card merchant, or any other third-parties. The Bidder specifically waives the right to initiate a credit card chargeback dispute on any basis of claim and agrees that the Bidder will pay Antiquities of California, LLC a minimum of $300 plus hourly charges and costs for any such chargeback dispute opened, due to the severe administrative burden of such disputes and their direct violation of the dispute provisions above. In the event that the Bidder violates this dispute resolution provisions, in consideration of Antiquities of California, LLC's approval of the application of the Bidder to bid in Antiquities of California, LLC 's auction, Bidder confesses judgment to fraud having been committed by the Bidder against Antiquities of California, LLC and further agrees that the Bidder is liable to Antiquities of California, LLC for all damages, losses and costs, including time charges, resulting from chargebacks or any claims. The placing of a bid shall constitute acceptance of the preceding terms and conditions.
Legal Action: Failure to complete the purchase in accordance with the terms provided herein and in the listing will cause the Bidder to be faced with all, or any combination of the following measures: elimination of all future bidding privileges on the hosting site; credit agency reporting; legal and/or collection action.
By bidding on this auction, you agree that in the event your payment is not received and/or honored or if Antiquities of California, LLC does not receive settled funds for your purchase, that any necessary collection proceedings and/or legal action shall be brought in Clark County (Nevada) Superior Court and you are agreeing that you are submitting to the jurisdiction of said court in the unlikely event that you do not pay for your purchase.
We reserve the right to accept or deny any bid placed in any INVALUABLE.com or affiliate site. Lots may have a reserve and Antiquities of California, LLC will bid against the reserve. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, please do not bid.
Payment
Please add info@antiquitiesca.com to your contact list to make sure you will receive your winning notifications from our auction. The Bidder is responsible for paying Antiquities of California, LLC directly after winning the item, invoices will be sent out within 24 hours of auction close. Payment must be complete within 72 hours of receiving invoice. Please take note that your credit card may be charged 5 days after the auction if payment has not been received.
Accepted Forms of Payment: American Express, Visa, Discover, MasterCard, Money Order/Cashier's Check, PayPal, and Bank/Wire Transfer. Orders totaling $10,000 and above will be required to remit payment via Bank/Wire Transfer or PayPal, credit card payments will not be accepted. Certain exceptions may apply.
If you have a Seller's Permit, please email a copy to info@antiquitiesca.com at the time of your winning bid as to not hold up your shipment.
Tax
CA Sales Tax: California residents must pay 8.75% sales tax
Conditions
Through our pictures and descriptions, we try and give our customers the best possible feel for the condition of our items. If you need more information, just send us an email and we will be more than happy to provide additional information to ensure that you are a confident buyer. Everything is sold "as is."
Occasionally you may notice that an item is re-listed. This can be due to a variety of reasons such as a winning Bidder in a previous auction not paying for the item, multiple types of the same item or it is one of the few items listed with a reserve and the reserve was not met.
There are times in which we encounter excessive delays obtaining the lots from our sources, so this may delay shipment. However, this is very uncommon. Under the rare occasion that a lot/s cannot be obtained from the consignor, the auction will be cancelled, and a 100% refund of your payment will be issued. If you happen to win a framed item or request custom framing on your item, please allow for an additional 3-4 weeks processing to accommodate your order.
Shipping Terms
SHIPPING, HANDLING & INSURANCE
All packages will be shipped through UPS or FEDEX with signature required unless otherwise noted before the time of shipment. SHIPPING TIMEFRAME 10 business days. Every shipment will be packed professionally, in house and we ship worldwide. The tracking number will be emailed as soon as it becomes available. Please note that we do ship multiple items in a single package to minimize shipping charges when possible.
Winning Bidder is responsible for paying the shipping charges. The shipping fee is added onto the final invoice. Shipping charges depend on the value of the package, dimensional weight, and your specific location in relation to our company. Antiquities of California, LLC insures packages while in transit to the winning Bidders.
International packages may be subject to their respective country's customs, duties, and taxes and Bidders are responsible for paying this additional charge. Antiquities of California, LLC is not responsible for paying your customs, duties and taxes. Please make sure you update the auction house if there is any change in your shipping address. Antiquities of California, LLC will base the shipping fee on that address and will only ship to the address shown in your profile unless other arrangements are made prior to shipping your package. Please note that as the value of the package goes up shipping charges go up. Please contact the auction house directly if you want an advance quote for your shipping charge.
In the event that you refuse delivery of the package for the completion of your order, at the discretion of Antiquities of California, LLC you will be liable for the 20% buyer's premium and an additional 25% restocking fee based on the total hammer price paid.
