Description

CHEVAL ET CHIEN A L’ÉCURIE
Sculpture en bronze à patine brune, fonte ancienne d’une très grande finesse d’exécution décrivant un moment de sérénité entre un cheval et un chien, signée sur la terrasse : A. JACQUEMART. H : 23 cm - L : 35 cm. Une épreuve identique est conservée au Musée du Cheval à Moscou.
De nombreuses œuvres de Jacquemart décorent Paris, dont le Rhinocéros sur l’esplanade du Musée d’Orsay, les deux Lions de la porte de l’Hôtel de Ville, les quatre Sphinx de la fontaine de la place du Châtelet, les deux Dragons de la fontaine de la place Saint Michel et Les Lions en bronze du jardin des plantes.

HORSE AND DOG AT THE STABLE
Bronze sculpture with brown patina, old cast of very good quality describing a moment of serenity between a horse and a dog, signed on the terrace: A. JACQUEMART. H: 23 cm - L: 35 cm. An identical model is kept at the Moscow Horse Museum.
Many works by Jacquemart adorn Paris, including the Rhinoceros on the esplanade of the Musée d'Orsay, the two Lions at the door of the Hôtel de Ville, the four Sphinxes of the fountain on the Place du Châtelet, the two Dragons of the fountain on Place Saint Michel and the bronze Lions in the Jardin des Plantes.

Conditions de vente

The auction is public and open to all via the Internet after registration on Drouot Live www.drouotlive.com or on Invaluable www.invaluable.com which broadcasts the sale live on their sites.
An exhibition takes place in the premises of Drouot at 12 rue Drouot 75009 Paris.
The fact of participating in the auction is the unconditional acceptance of all these conditions of sale :

Art. 1 - The auction is done strictly in cash and without guarantee, its conduct and adjudication are in euros and instantly in Swiss francs and other currencies, on the exchange table visible to the public in the room and on the Internet.

Art. 2 - The auctioneer also reserves the right to refuse an auction and / or the allocation of a lot. In the event of a double auction, leading to a dispute between two bidders, the lot will be immediately put up for auction.

Art. 3 - Payment for purchases can be made by transfer or by bank card or in cash. For cash over CHF 100,000 we are required to verify the identity of the co-contracting party. The Auction House is free to accept or refuse payment by certain credit cards. Maestro, EC-Direct and Postcard direct debit
cards are accepted free of charge. The Maestro direct debit card will be subject to an increase of 0.50% and Credit cards, Visa and Mastercard will be subject to an increase corresponding to 2.30% of the total amount debited as participation in part of the fees collected by the card issuer. American Express and other credit cards are not accepted. Cheques are not accepted.

Art. 4 - The buyer pays 23% net overdue in addition to the auction price of each lot. The lots will be shipped from the seller's country to the buyer's country with application of Swiss legislation on VAT exemption.

Art. 5 - The buyer does not become the owner of the lot until the time of full payment.

Art. 6 - The lots sold will be returned to PARIS (rue Drouot) a few days after the sale and free of
transport costs or shipped to all countries at the buyer's expense.

Art.7 - The exhibition allowing buyers to realize the condition or authenticity of the objects, no complaints will be accepted once the auction has been pronounced. Items are sold in the condition they are found at the time of auction. This catalog has been produced with care to ensure that the
information given is correct, however descriptions are only the expression of an opinion and do not constitute a guarantee. Object condition reports are available on request. The photographs, dimensions and weights are provided purely for information.

Art. 8 - Telephone auctions are accepted but the Auction House declines all responsibility for any connection problems or any failure to complete an offer, for whatever reason.

Art. 9 - Any dispute relating to the sale is subject to the exclusive application of Swiss law and to the jurisdiction of the courts of the canton of Vaud, regardless of the location of the auction and the domicile of the parties.
However, the Auction House shall have the right to act at the domicile or headquarters of the purchaser, or any other competent court.
Recourse to the Federal Supreme Court is reserved.
From a legal standpoint, the French text of these conditions of sale constitutes the only opposable reference.
